1. The Christian lifestyle results from a spiritual rebirth -- it is not an effort to make ourselves Christians.
2. The Christian lifestyle reflects the image of Christ.
3. Without the Christian source and motivation, this list of Christian lifestyle characteristics will become a legalistic form of religion.

Instructions for lesson presentation on whiteboard:
1. Before class, draw chart outline and figurines
2. At beginning of class, read Ephesians 4:11-32
3. Write and explain focus and title
4. Ask class for their input in this order: Source, Motivation and lifestyle for old and new man
5. As you write them, elaborate on some characteristics
6. Erase whiteboard and write the three statements above without the underlined and colored words.
7. Allow class to fill in underlined words and elaborate why these statements are true
8. Discuss focus statement and truths in this lesson
